Meet Simon’s director of student life, Nate Kadar, and several current MBA students who share their involvement in the Simon community through clubs and other co-curricular activities. With 30+ club offerings, there is no shortage of opportunities to make an impact during your MBA experience. Our students describe their experience and the legacy they hope to leave on the Simon community and the City of Rochester through their leadership roles.
The MBA journey will empower and evolve who you are in so many ways. This session explores the importance not just of taking care of yourself, but staying true to who you are at every step of your career.
Kathryn Flaschner, an alumna from our MBA Class of 2017, joined us virtually from San Francisco to share reflections from her personal journey and what she has learned about the intersection of wellness and building a meaningful career. Kathryn is a brand strategist at Walmart, a yoga and meditation teacher, and an actor and storyteller in the Bay Area. During her time at Simon, Kathryn served as president of Simon Women in Business, was named one of Poets&Quants’ MBAs to Watch, and served as an assistant coach to the University of Rochester field hockey team.

Join us for an executive chat with Quincy Allen ’93S (MBA), who has over 35 years of leadership experience in the technology services industry, most recently serving as IBM’s go-to-market leader of Cognitive Process Services and chief marketing officer for IBM Cloud from 2015–2018. Quincy is currently on the board of Office Depot and is an advisor for the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Rochester.
