Simon Business School wants you to submit your most competitive application for admission. For some, a standardized test score propels their candidacy to the next level.
The GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment supports your application for MBA study and provides an assessment of verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills. Standardized test scores not only add dimension and bolster the competitiveness of your application, but for some industries—such as investment banking and consulting—prospective employers expect to see a GMAT score while reviewing your candidacy. In addition, we recommend taking the GMAT, GRE, or EA to demonstrate your quantitative capabilities if you have limited exposure to math or business courses in your undergraduate education.
A multi-dimensional waiver review.
We offer standardized test waivers to candidates whose academic record, work experience, or other credentials are well rounded and competitive. Here are examples of the metrics we consider:
- Rigor of your undergraduate studies
- Proficiency in quantitative courses
- Certifications such as CFA or CPA
- Relevant work experience
- Undergraduate GPA and major
Please note that being granted a standardized test waiver does not automatically signal that you will be admitted. The Admissions Committee will do a holistic review of your complete application to determine if you will be extended an offer of admission.
